About Tenterden Singers

Come and join us

Do you enjoy singing?  We do - and we are always welcoming new members. If you can sing why not come along to one of our rehearsals and see if you would like to make music with us? All we ask for is your enthusiasm and commitment.

We are an informal, very friendly choir of around 30 people who enjoy singing and we will give you a warm welcome,

We perform a wide range of songs in four-part harmony (soprano, alto, tenor and bass) from madrigals to musicals. There are no auditions and you don’t have to be able to read the music as our Music Director Stephen Pusey helps us to learn and we help each other.

We try and perform 2 or 3 times a year in local churches and for local charities. Most recently we have supported the Bell Frame Restoration at Bethersden Church, Rolvenden Primary School and the Friends of Stone in Oxney Church

The list below is a selection of some of the music we have sung recently.

Jesu, the very thought of thee
The Seal Lullaby by Eric Whitacre (click link to see it sung by Voces 8 if you dont know it)
